"I was diagnosed with arthritis in my big toe. It doesn’t sound that bad, but the pain that I was experiencing was, at times, unbearable. Just walking was almost impossible. Traditional medicine offered steroid injections with short term relief or surgery with trading one pain for potentially another. I didn’t want to do either.
