Ramesh Marahatta, MD

Dr. Marahatta focuses on the preventative aspect of nephrology and strives to help patients by listening carefully to find ways to improve their health. He takes the time to educate patients on the disorders so they understand the issue and feel empowered to take ownership of their health.

Background

Growing up, Dr. Ramesh Marahatta always wanted to help people who were suffering. He was inspired at a young age by the service and professionalism a doctor embodied which influenced him to pursue a career in medicine.

Dr. Marahatta chose nephrology because it is a challenging medical issue that deals with the whole physiology of the body. Dr. Marahatta loves working at Nephrology Associates because of the camaraderie, the family feel to the team and the opportunity to help people with complex and often ongoing medical issues.

Chuck McGlade, MD

Dr. McGlade brings years of extensive experience in a wide range of interventional procedures serving patients with peripheral arterial disease, renal artery disease, end stage renal disease, venous disease including acute and chronic thrombosis as well as varicose veins, cancer patients and others. State of the art embolization techniques are useful in women with uterine fibroids and in men with prostate enlargement.

Background

Dr. Chuck McGlade is a practicing interventional radiologist focusing on minimally invasive surgical procedures. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University and as one of the top ten students in his class, was awarded Phi Beta Kappa in his junior year. Medical education was completed at Cornell University Medical College where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha due to graduating in the top ten of his class. Further medical training was at UCLA where he was Chief Resident and completed an IR fellowship.

Dr. McGlade prides himself in building strong relationships with patients and staff and is focused on providing a patient-centered medical practice.

Dr. McGlade is the recipient of numerous awards and has authored multiple medical publications. Dr McGlade has lived in Oregon for 30 years and has brought new techniques and innovations to practices at Sacred Heart Medical Center, Sacred Heart Riverbend and McKenzie Willamette Medical Center. During the past several years, he has worked at Mercy Medical Center creating a full scale interventional program as the vascular specialist for Douglas County.

Shalin Sanghvi, MD

Background

Dr. Shalin Sanghvi began his education focused on engineering, but he found himself wanting more from his field of study. His passion for helping people and building personal connections led him to medicine and the specialty of nephrology.

Dr. Sanghvi works with all of his patients to understand their individual health goals and educate them about diseases and health concerns. He has seen the impact education can have on patients and how it can help them work toward long-term outcomes. He loves being able to provide a cohesive patient experience by being involved throughout the diagnosis and treatment processes.

When he isn’t working, Dr. Sanghvi enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, traveling and playing tennis.

Certified by The American Board of Surgery in both general and vascular surgery, Dr. Seidman has introduced innovative technologies to our surgical community, including carotid stenting, endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms, endovascular treatment of complex thoracic aortic pathology and peripheral arterial disease.

Background

As a general surgeon, Dr. Seidman’s special interests include vascular and endovascular surgeries. He leads our region with his expertise and knowledge of aortic stents, grafting for abdominal aortic aneurysms and thoracic aneurysms.

Dr. Seidman serves as medical director for Oregon Heart and Vascular Institute and is the past chief of staff at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend. He is a member of the Oregon Medical Association, Society of Vascular Surgery and Lane County Medical Society, as well as a fellow of the American College of Surgery. His original research in the field of vascular surgery won awards at the American Venous Forum and the New England Society for Vascular Surgery.
