I’m glad you’re here, and I appreciate you visiting our website. I hope you’ve uncovered some useful information that will assist you in your search for care. Today, there are more choices, and it’s crucial to make the right one to help your loved ones receive care where they’re most comfortable.
Years ago, my mother received a life-altering diagnosis. When that happened, it was more than one life that was impacted. I remember the stress, confusion, and frustration amongst all the emotions. I’ve seen the challenge that direct care has on family, and I’ve witnessed the benefits of being able to remain in a comfortable space and retain as much control as possible. Now that Dad’s not as young as he used to be, the conversation about his care options doesn’t seem as overwhelming.
In my prior career I spent over two decades in financial services, with a large focus on retirees and long- term care planning. I’ve seen too many people forced to uproot their lives, leave their familiar surroundings, and unnecessarily dispose of assets in order to receive the only care they thought was available.
All of this is why I chose to open Assisting Hands Home Care Annapolis.
My team and I are passionate about enabling loved ones to age in place, with dignity and as much independence as can be afforded, to allow for the best quality of life that can be achieved. I’m fortunate to be able to work with amazingly caring, giving people as we serve the families that we have the privilege of working with. Our caregivers are our family, and we hope to earn the chance to make them part of yours as well.
