Katherine has recently joined our team of counsellors at Breathe and offers sessions in Midland, West Perth and Online. She has a rich and unique background in counselling and community services.

Whether Short or Long Term Therapy, Katherine is committed to facilitating Clients on their journey to improved wellbeing and self-discovery. She provides a safe space for Clients to be truly heard alongside the opportunity to reflect on experiences and understand their meaning.

Working with Adults, Adolescents and Children, Katherine takes a Person-Centred approach whilst incorporating theories such as Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfullness. This integrative approach means therapy is provided in line with the needs and wishes of each individual.

A popular choice with younger clients due to her down to earth, relatable approach,  Katherine supports with a range of factors often experienced in adolescence, including; life transitions, school avoidance, identity exploration, parental separation, childhood bereavement and spiritual matters.

Formerly an Outreach Worker and Family Support Service Manager, Katherine has experience in a variety of roles including as a Grief Counsellor, Specialist Suicide Bereavement Counsellor, High School Counsellor and College Counsellor.

Katherine works tentatively alongside Clients- whether it be exploring feelings such as anger, anxiety or depression, navigating grief, looking at relationships or considering how earlier experiences impact life today.

Cal offers counselling in West Perth and in Rockingham. She is a compassionate and insightful counsellor, offering individual and couples counselling, and family therapy . Her approach is respectful, non-judgemental and empathetic, which ensures her clients experience a safe environment in which to grow and experience positive change. She strongly advocates an integrated, holistic approach that enables her clients to address areas of concern such as relational issues, depression, anxiety, and anger management.

Cal is passionate about providing relationship counselling that empowers clients to make genuine, lasting and positive changes in their lives while ensuring that unhealthy patterns are resolved. She is genuine, insightful and caring and strives to ensure that the counselling experience leads to a positive outcome. Jade offers individual and couples counselling in West Perth, Perth CBD, Midland, Rockingham and Online. Jade is an empathetic and insightful, person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist. She applies a range of relevant therapeutic approaches in her practice according to the unique needs of her clients. In consideration of personal context and environment, Jade is an integrative therapist and draws upon Gestalt, Emotionally Focused (EFT), ACT and Narrative counselling. Building genuine rapport and strong alliance with her clients, Jade champions those she works with for the purpose of helping them reach their goals.

Jade is particularly interested in supporting those suffering grief, loss, and trauma. She has supported women from family and domestic violence and in offering mediation, anger management and pre and post pregnancy care. As a long-term migrant in Australia, she values culture, diversity and inclusivity and has weaved her journey through the complexities of social and cultural issues in this ever-evolving landscape. Stephanie offers counselling services in our West Perth and Midland suites. She also offers online counselling appointments. Stephanie is passionate about providing a safe, insightful space for others, holding a belief that healthy connections foster growth. Integrating Psychodynamic, Attachment-focussed and Emotion-focussed therapies, Stephanie is attentive and creative in her approach. Stephanie has prior experience supporting individuals, couples, children and families to address diverse needs, including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship struggles, behavioural difficulties and social issues.

Stephanie is both perceptive and sensitive in her work with people. Through the application of research based therapies such as Emotionally Focussed Therapy , and an authentic, gentle manner, Stephanie is able to empathise with her clients and offer evidence informed solutions.

He specialises in and offers couples, men and youth focused therapy at Breathe Counselling. He is a uniquely encouraging and deeply empathetic counsellor. Mark's diverse vocational history, draws upon experience in corporate leadership, community, educational and mental health/ wellbeing contexts. His training and lived experience aids in his mature and developed approach with his clients. Mark has engaged in over 20 years of experience in the Not for Profit and Communities sector, 15 years of counselling experience with corporate and pastoral environments.

Mark is an integrative counsellor who uses a mixture of therapy models, including Narrative, Person-Centred and Cognitive Behaviour Therapies (CBT). His warm and intuitive approach, combined with his therapeutic skillset assists clients to feel safe, confident and engaged in sessions. His proactive stance both towards championing people in their strengths and supporting them in their challenges is central to his work. She has extensive experience and has for 15 years been providing support for individuals as they navigate challenging life experiences and diverse mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss.

Her maturity and life experiences also enable insightful wisdom and knowledge into complex relational challenges in different seasons of life. Sue would describe her style of therapy as integrative.
