After graduating from Georgetown College, Dr. Compton earned his dental degree from the University of Kentucky. He then completed a 30-month residency in orthodontics at SUNY-Buffalo.

Dr. D. Thomas Compton is married to his wife Kara and they have three sons, Jake, Charlie and Henry. They are busy with sports, enjoy being outside and traveling with family. He is very active in the community through student recognition awards, youth soccer programs and various local charities.
