Route Overview
Your adventure to Annapurna Base Camp begins the second you land at TIA. Don't feel lost in a foreign land. A friendly face holding a Nepal Hiking Team display board will greet you with a warm smile. This isn't only airport pickup; it's the start of an unforgettable story.
After a smooth drive to Pokhara, we can unwind or stroll around the lakeside in the evening. The real adventure begins the next day as we go through beautiful forests, cascading waterfalls, and swimming holes. By day's end, you'll find yourself in Ulleri, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature.
As our journey unfolds, you can forge lasting connections with fellow trekkers, sharing laughter and stories on the route towards Ghorepani. Awake one crisp morning and hike on a short pilgrimage to Poon Hill. It offers incredible views of the highest peaks like Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, and Machhapuchhre. As the sun rises, so will our spirit.
After savoring the sunrise spectacle, we trek to Tadapani, Chhomrong Village, Dovan. Each step brings us closer to the heart of the Himalayas as we reach Deurali.
The most awaited day has come: reaching Annapurna Base Camp. The journey begins by climbing a riverbed and hiking up to the Annapurna Sanctuary. You'll follow the Modi Khola trail, which will take you to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC). After resting at MBC and admiring the mountains, continue up the trail until you reach Annapurna Base Camp. The reality of reaching the ABC will only hit once you see the giant mountains so close to your eyes. The base is towered by impressive peaks of Annapurna and the surrounding range.
Bidding farewell to the mighty Annapurna, you head towards the village of Bamboo. You'll retrace your steps through Modi Khola and reach Bamboo Village. After an overnight stay there, you'll descend to Jhinu Danda Hot Spring.
You leave the Himalayas behind and move towards Pokhara. You drive back and stay over in Pokhara to rest for the day. The next day, you return to Kathmandu via bus, or you have an option for a flight, which will incur extra charges. Your trip will end the next day after your overnight stay in Kathmandu. One of our representatives will drop you at the airport 3 hours before your departure flight.
