Lubbock Crime Statistics

Data presented by the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Uniform Crime Report (UCR) provides an overview of crime rates in Lubbock in 2019 and 2018. Data published in 2019 shows a total of 2613 violent crimes in Lubbock, compared to 2565 crimes in 2018. The number of murder and non-negligent manslaughter cases in 2019 was 10 versus 13 cases in 2018. There were 268 reported rape crime cases in 2019, while 239 cases were reported in 2018. Robbery cases in 2019 were 468, compared to 443 cases in 2018. The city recorded 8632 cases of larceny-theft. Motor vehicle theft cases totaled 1225 in 2019, compared to 1203 cases in 2018, while reports of arson grew in 2019, with 85 reported cases compared to the 57 reported arson cases in 2018.

How Do I Visit an Inmate in Lubbock Police Department Jail
