MOT Vehicle Classification
There are a total of seven MOT classifications. We work on the following categories:
Class 4
Several vehicles come under this category, such as cars, taxis, dual-purpose vehicles, motors, caravans, minibuses, ambulances up to 12 seats, and goods vehicles up to 3000 kg.
Class 7
There are many goods vehicles between 3000 kg and 3500 kg. These vehicles are covered under Class 7.
MOT Certifications
We will issue you a VT20 certificate if the vehicle passes the MOT Northampton test.
A VT30 certificate is provided if the car fails the test.
If needed, an emissions report will also be provided. Occasionally, a VT32 certificate is also issued—it is an advisory note mentioning inspection outcomes.
