I provide sash window expertise throughout Norwich, Norfolk, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

My name is Howard Greenland and welcome to my website.

I have been working on sash windows for over ten years and still get excited dealing with 250+ sash windows each year.

As well as dealing with windows for my customers, I carry out product testing and training for my local supplier DRAFTFIX ltd in Bury st Edmunds who sell “the UK’s No 1 sash window draught proofing system”.

I believe sash windows should be saved for aesthetic, historical, ecological and financial reasons. They can be repaired and improved upon and are easy to use and maintain.

Long term repair and improvement is almost always cheaper than replacement – saving money whilst retaining original features which add value back to your building.

The key to fixing your sash windows properly is combining an expert, the right materials and the right processes to achieve what you want. I strive to provide all three.

I combine British materials with a tried and tested approach that works. I believe and trust in what I do.

Recently had my old sash windows refurbished by Howard at Sash Window Revival, and I couldn't be happier with the result. Howard was professional and friendly from the initial survey right through to the completion of the work. He clearly explained the process and was very patient with my questions. The quality of the restoration is excellent; the windows now look fantastic, and the draughts and rattles we used to have are completely gone, making the house much warmer and quieter.

I found Howard Greenland on google while searching for a professional sash window repair/restorer, he came over to my home for a quote promptly and we got on very well. Howard has restored and rebuilt 9 windows so far at my property ranging from sash windows to complete rebuilds, his craftsmanship is to a very high standard and so is his creative ability. I found Sash Window Revival and Howard through Google search and spent a while tracking down someone who seemed expert. My sash window wouldn’t shut, I thought the weights were stuck and it would involve opening up the boxes and a lot of mess and remedial work afterwards. But he figured out that the people who put shutters in a few months ago had put screws too long which were hitting the weights. I’m super happy he diagnosed the problem and fixed it with no messing about. An absolutely brilliant job which I feel sure someone else could’ve spent hours figuring out and charged me a lot for their time. Really recommend!
