Our Mission is Personal

Our founder’s parents discovered the benefits of medical cannabis in the 1970s, at a time when the plant was stigmatized and misunderstood. They consumed cannabis to address personal health issues, but prohibition was a roadblock to easy access. Their experience is why we’ve made it our mission to provide consumers with the highest-quality cannabis products. It’s also why we’re committed to building lasting customer relationships.

OUR CANNABIS PRODUCTS

THC-A is raw cannabis. It is non-psychoactive. When heated (decarbed), THC-A becomes THC, which is psychoactive. For all intents and purposes, THCA and THC are the same thing. THCA is just the scientific name for THC in its raw, flower form. As soon as you smoke it, vape it, or cook with it, it immediately converts into THC. This is true of ALL cannabis flower… not just at Takoma. No exceptions!

We do not sell Delta-8 (in bold). Delta-8 is manufactured from hemp based-CBD. The amount of Delta-8 in hemp CBD is very low, so it is further converted synthetically (using chemical substances). Delta-8 products are untested, unevaluated, and unapproved for safe use in any context. Selling these products put consumers at risk.
