Tampa Smiles: John L. Redd II, DMD

Very disappointing experience. I had been going to Tampa Smiles for years and was never once late for an appointment. I had to reschedule an appointment ONE time and they hit me with a massive charge. I even called ahead to let them know.
I'll be looking for a new dentist now.

Updating my review to confirm that a year and a half later, they are still the best.

Now, it takes me 35 minutes to drive here, what up Tampa traffic?, but I'm still willing to make the drive, because they are efficient and I trust them.

I scheduled my appointment without thinking about the fact that I needed to get in and out in an hour to be able to pick up my baby from daycare. I've been to many doctor's appointments and this would have made me stressed because I've found they rarely run on time, however, I've learned this office is super efficient so I actually wasn't that concerned.

I told my dental hygienist upfront that I was picking up my son right after and she immediately said let's get you in and out then! When she was done with my cleaning I actually heard her telling Dr. Redd that I had someplace to be. In turn, he was super quick with my check. I really appreciate that and I scheduled my next appointment when I have more time. I actually got out in fifty minutes and I didn't feel like I was rushed at all.

I also appreciate how they have little water bottles in the waiting room. They also have cookies. When I'm waiting there's usually just me or just me and one other person so I know they don't over schedule.

Whenever anyone asks about a dentist, I always highly recommend Dr. Redd. This office is fantastic.

What a delight! If you never thought you'd say that about trip to the dentist, then you haven't see Dr Redd. He carefully explains, is gentle, and does expert repairs. His staff is also attentive and efficient with a welcome sense of humor. I have been very pleased with the fit and color of my crowns and fillings. My bite has never been more precise. Highly recommended.

Dr. Redd, Tania, Denise and the rest of his team are real professionals, can't recommend highly enough. I think they may have set a world record for fixing a cavity today. I was 7 minutes late to start with and in a huge hurry , they sat me right down and had my cavity fixed and I was leaving in exactly 19 minutes! I have waited for longer than that to even been seen at other dentists.
As a patient you get the sense Dr. Redd is really concerned about the health of your teeth, and you can tell his employees really enjoy their jobs. Thanks!!

Dr. Redd and team are consummate professionals. I've had several crowns and routine cleanings and it is always a delightful experience. Dr. Redd is extremely skilled in his profession of dentistry as well as a very genuine and kind person who cares deeply about his patients.

I have seen Dr Redd for almost 8 years. Definitely gives the best recommendation for your tooth. Had a dental implant done and it has been a great experience .
He and his staff is always willing to see you under any circumstances . Had a fallen front tooth and he readily accepted me , examined me , treated me and referred me to the best Orhodontist in town .

Dr Redd and his staff made my experience extremely comfortable and felt they truly had my best interest at heart and only recommended what was needed. One of the better dentists I've encountered over the years. Highly recommend

I have had many dentists throughout my adult life and this is by far the best! The hygienist I see is extremely friendly and gentle. I hate going to the dentist and this office has made me feel completely comfortable and has wiped away any anxiety I have felt in the past. The customer service is outstanding! Dr. Redd goes out of his way to text message me on my birthday and has offered me tickets to my favorite football team's games when he has extra ticket. I love that I only come here twice a year but each time I come in they know my name and remember personal things about my life and family. I also enjoy all the work this office does for the community, for the holidays they were offering free teeth whitening if patients brought in items for metropolitan ministries.

Finding new Doctors is very hard. Moved here a year ago and found a dentist that really exemplify professionalism and very knowledgable about your dental needs. I was here a few months ago to have my dental needs check and was given a plan for my food trap problem. Now, I am back for the tooth replacement and it only takes one visit. Dr Redd is very welcoming and showed me how my tooth will be replaced. All the staff are polite and professional and very friendly from the moment I made the first call. The money spent for my dental services was all worth it. Pam my dental hygienist was very thorough today and for sure be coming back for my next cleaning.

Dr. Redd and his team are lifesavers for my family again today. This is the second time they've seemingly dropped everything to fix a chipped tooth for us within a day's notice. (Yeah, we need to stop doing that!) Besides being great at emergencies, the entire office is friendly, welcoming, professional and efficient. I've been going here for 8 years, and it's always been a fast and pleasant visit. I can testify their great advice and service for both for cosmetic issues and the overall health of your smile. Thank you!
