'Great start, with easy to find centrally located pick up point, that allows for a great coffee. Our guide Andy was very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable on the area's history, environment and sense of community. The tour was very well paced with all the stops, we consider an absolute must, like the memorial to the Aberfan disaster, the winding beautiful access through and to the top of Brecon, the tasty and interesting Penderyn Distillery, the amazing 'Welsh Coal Mining Experience', stunning Castell Coch and lunch in a typical valley's high street.
I recommend this tour to anyone visiting South Wales.'

Andy was amazing. Very friendly. Took time to talk to us individually and get to know us a little over the 6 hr hike. Andy took our time with the group and was able to go at individual paces. The information on route was informative and very knowledgeable. Loved our 1st ever hike and the waterfalls were amazing. Pictures to last a life time

3 adventures in and I’m still looking for more!
started out with a trip to snowdonia to climb Snowdon on my own. As a single woman I was a bit out of my comfort zone but instantly hit it off with Andy and loved the day. Knowledgeable, intelligent, funny- Andy is great too. I came back for the waterfalls walk in south wales - another absolute blast. Decided to do a 3 day trip to snowdonia camping In the wild- what an experience. The best times and have spent much more on far less memorable experiences. Cannot rate the tours enough and if you get to meet Andy and indeed his lovely wife- well now that’s an added bonus. I’m looking to book something to try and get my teens excited about hiking in Wales and I won’t look anywhere else.

The Useful Stuff...
Kit Requirements
HIKES - Usual mountain kit is best, so walking boots or shoes, waterproofs, warm layers and a packed lunch. Do be in touch if you intend to purchase any kit as we can guide you to the best options for your budget.
TOURS - Sightseeing tours are car-based and in and out of attractions so in general clothing appropriate for the weather and good footwear, please. A waterproof jacket in Wales is a very good idea indeed :)
