We're looking at the effects of diabetes, high blood pressure, and other systemic conditions on the body as a whole—and in particular on the anatomy of the eye. And if something isn't working properly, we don't hesitate to address it immediately. We also use cutting-edge technology to diagnose and treat common ocular diseases like glaucoma and cataracts as well as macular degeneration—which is often caused by diabetes or high blood pressure—and even some conditions that aren't technically eye problems but affect vision (like thyroid disease).
