About five years ago, while still a practicing BSN-MSN in an oncology clinic and in several hospitals over the years, Leticia Ramirez Norman wondered what was next after she retired from her over forty-year career. She had dreamed of opening her own day spa for quite a while; one that could not only nurture guests during difficult times in their lives, such as during cancer treatments, but also other guests who needed to decompress, relax or refresh. She knew that she could create an environment in which her guests felt nurtured and welcome. About three years ago she began the process of researching the spa industry; then Covid 19 hit, delaying the process for about eighteen months. She persevered.
