It all started in the late 1960s when William Riley Gordy Sr. began roofing in the Dallas area. He quickly developed a passion for the craft and, driven by his commitment to his family, relocated to the safer and family-friendly environs of the Tyler area. Here, the Gordy roofing legacy truly took root and blossomed into one of the most respected roofing companies in East Texas.
Our Family Tradition and Work Ethics
Raised on a steady diet of hard work and strong business ethics, William Sr’s three sons – William, John, and James – took up the mantle. Their expertise, backed by their father’s rich roofing legacy, has led to the continued growth and success of Gordy Roofing.
