Emergencies often happen with no apparent warning. And they may lead to chaos and confusion, especially if there isn’t a good office evacuation plan and drill.  

However, it’s not always about fire drills, even though it’s crucial to be safe around fires and follow the fire code. There are also other kinds of emergencies, like bad weather, chemical spills, and, sadly, workplace violence and mass shootings. 

Schedule evacuation drills throughout the year to ensure that your staff and other people in the building evacuation drill know how to act in an emergency.
