The Vmax Duo is poled-designed, and the pole is composed of durable ABS plastic rather than steel. The handlebars are strong and durable for folks who use it mostly for balancing, but I wouldn't recommend grabbing and tugging on it for kicks. Because the grips are on both sides of the pole, there is less mobility than with the Vmax Trio. On the Vmax Duo, there are two control panels: one at the top and one in the middle of the pole. This works excellent while I'm sitting down and meditating on the vibrating platform because I can quickly modify the speed settings while sitting down without having to stand up and seat down again. The Vmax Duo, like the Vmax Trio, has two motors that provide Oscillation and Spiral vibration modes, but instead of 500W and 300W, it has 300W and 200W. It's a touch less powerful than the Trio, and we'll see if there's any difference in lifting power in our tests.
